Ans. The upward pressure of water called thrust relieves the force of gravity to some extent and thus  results in reduction of weight in water as compared to air.

Ans .A fuse wire has low melting point ,when the current is strong the fuse wire get heated up and melted down and it save the circuit from getting over heated .

so the four sides are:
                            =   l+l+b+b
                            =   2l+2b     [Taking 2  common]
                            =   2(l+b)

Ans .We can view the object from two points at once giving  us an idea of solidity also and not only of flatness.

Ans. When the piece of iron come in contact of oxygen or moisture, it form iron oxide, a compound of iron and oxygen.

Ans.The temperature of the fire is very high so , when we throw water on the fire the water got evaporated.
